From our warehouse in Charlton, South East London, we stock over 500+ products across every category you would find in an African food market: rice, beans, gari, plantain flour, palm oil, spices, seasonings, tinned goods, beverages, snacks, and fresh produce. We also manufacture our own range, including the popular Asiko Exotic Plantain Crisps and BB Chips.

Our Story
Asiko was founded in 1997 in South East London with one goal: to make it easier for African and Caribbean communities in the UK to find the food they grew up eating.
What started as a small operation supplying a handful of local shops has grown into one of London’s most established African food wholesalers. Over 27 years, we have built relationships with over 1,500 retail shops across the country, becoming a name that shop owners trust for consistent quality and reliable delivery.
Along the way, we started manufacturing our own products. Asiko Exotic Plantain Crisps became a household favourite, and BB Chips followed as a snack that brings the bold flavours of West Africa to a wider audience. Both are made right here in the UK.
